Cambodia

Sorry i haven't posted in a while, but I guess I was on winter break. I am currently in Laos, in a small town called Luang Namtha. Cambodia was very rushy and a very rude awakening from the tranquil, quiet Bhutan. I met up with my Brother and Sister on the day I left and traveled with them for some time until my brother had to leave for college. My sister has chosen to travel with us for the whole trip. So, when I arrived in Cambodia the first day, I didn't really know what to suspect. The first city we went to was Siem Reap, and went South to Battambang and even further down to Phnom Penh. The last place we visited before flying out was Kampot. It was my favorite city in Cambodia, but also something really crazy happened there. So in southern Asia, there are these vehicles called tuk tuks. They are like taxis in that they drive you around but are less so, because they aren't cars. They are more like Motorcycles connected to a carriage. So, as I was saying, in Kampot, we were taking a tuk tuk to get to dinner and we were driving there and we got into an accident. We ran into a car and the motorcycle tipped over along with the carriage. My brother and I got off with nothing, while my Sister and my Mom got really scratched up. (My dad was walking there) Thankfully, there was a clinic just around the corner, and we could get patched up. There's no easy way to put this, but if the events played out differently, things could have been so much worse. Our scratches were really bad, but they could have been broken limbs. The incident left me on edge, taking more precautions. That's all, thanks for reading.
